"I invited 5 friends to celebrate my 60th birthday with me at the villa Alex. They were all very impressed with every detail,of the villa.I will be booking the villa again for myself and family.Two of my freinds have also said they will be booking it as well."

"The layout of this villa is perfect for those with young kids - the pool is in the 'back yard' behind a separate gate...so you can have the kids in the front without worrying abut them falling/jumping into the pool with no adults around! We loved it! We also can't fault the service provided by the James reps and the villa owner himself. When we arrived the dvd player didn't work...turns out the occupants the previous week had broken quite a few things. However, a quick mention to our reps and the owner turned up in less than 2 hours with a brand new one. There was also a problem with the satellite tv...the owner arranged for the the satellite company to come out & fix it - all by the first afternoon of our stay. Would definitely recommend this villa..."

"The only downside was that the pool was full of dirt by the end of the week. There is a leaf catching scoop thing by the pool which we used everyday, but it could have done with a proper clean mid way through the week. There was everything that we needed in the villa, including cutlery and crockery etc."

"Very pleased with the villa - there was loads of space - very private - pool was wonderful - perfect spot just 15 minute walk to the seafront with restaurants and shops and just 5 minutes from a local shop - it was also very clean - although it did specify that there was cable TV there was only one english channel sky news !!! - this was a bit misleading -( not that it was a problem for us we were always outside !! ) It was perfect for us ..."

"We had a fantastic stay at this villa during the Icelandic volcano incident. The pool and general layout of the villa was superb. It took about 10 minutes to walk down to the strip where all the shops, restaurants and beach was."

"Overall we were extremely happy with the villa but we had 2 minor issues. One would be the bed linen which was of the cheaper nylon type. You might suggest to the owners that they invest in good quality cotton bed linen which is much more comfortable to sleep on and also better in hot weather. Also we were unable to work the DVD player and couldn't locate any instructions. Again it might be worth making instructions available."

"Swimming pool was quite cold, took a little while to get used to the temperature, got out after 15 minutes or so because I felt too cold! the villa in general was lovely, large living area with very nice furnishings, always felt secure, the owner next door was exceptionally helpful and friendly, even when it came to helping us get a barbecue started! We are seriously considering rebooking this villa next year, we fell in love with it and the island."
