Why not try Easter in Ibiza?

According to Ibiza Spotlight, visitors to the island get a real taste of the celebrations, particularly if they stay in the Santa Eulalia.

Smaller processions take place in Santa Gertrudis, San Miguel, San Vicente and San Lorenzo - so no matter where you are on the island the fun is never far away.

"Even if you are not religious, the sights and sounds of these processions will remain with you for the rest of your life. Try to get along to see them if you are in Ibiza," the site says.

Santa Eulalia is a popular local town full of whitewashed houses and bright colourful flowers, but the town could be painted red this Easter.

Outside of Easter there is always something to do here and it boasts some of the finest restaurants on the island.
