The star, who has just published a book on housekeeping, told the Telegraph that boating on an Ibiza holiday would be one of her ideal trips abroad.
She advises people heading out on Ibiza holidays or alternative summer getaways to read up on their destination before leaving the UK.
"Do some research on where you’re going and you’ll be a lot wiser about the location when you arrive," she stated.
The presenter also recommended that trips overseas should be an opportunity to absorb a different culture for a while, pointing out her distaste for those who "go abroad and want to have an English breakfast".
Paul Bradley, a spokesperson for the Spanish Property Owners Guild, recently commented that the towns and villages around the Balearic islands all have their own distinct culture.
