Spring brings cycling to an Ibiza holiday

Although not as busy in the summertime, Ibiza still has plenty of activities for holiday makers to take part in and a chance to enjoy the island's colourful countryside.

Springtime is a great chance for visitors to the island to partake in cycling or walking and to enjoy the scenic views and warm Mediterranean climate.

Cycle paths take visitors across the island through forests and coastline making a good day out from the relaxing atmosphere of the villa pool.

The Ruta des Plans and Es Camp Vell are inland and coastal routes that run through the Sant Mateu valley - an area famous for its vineyards.

As well as vineyards, holiday makers are likely to pass beautiful beaches on their walks of bike rides - the perfect place to rest tired legs.
