Santa Eulalia Fiesta celebrates Ibiza's 'miraculous' past

Many years ago an old church which was full of locals attending mass collapsed and crumbled into the sea as soon as the service ended, What's on When reports.

However, none of the worshippers were injured and the event is now commemorated by the Santa Eulalia Fiesta.

Taking place on the first Sunday in May, the two main attractions consist of a flower display and a colourful and exciting procession of horse-drawn coaches and floats.

Locals take to the streets in their finest outfits and dance to the music in a celebration which is likely to delight holidaymakers wanting a taste of Ibiza.

After enjoying the festivities, visitors may wish to relax during the evening at one of the stylish and traditional low-key bars dotted around the island.
