San Antonio 'smartening up' for an Ibiza villa holiday
According to the Times, the area has recently begun investing in overhauling its reputation to move away from being a party spot towards conveying the image of an altogether smarter destination for an Ibiza holiday.
The newspaper states that San Antonio has ploughed money into improving its marina and building a new promenade linking the Cara del Rey with the Calo d'es Moro.
Commenting on the improvements, Andy Cato of Groove Armada said: "You can now walk almost a mile along the beach walkway and never be further than 10 feet from a cold beer, a nice bit of dinner and a beautiful sunset."
San Antonio is the second largest town on the island and holiday makers on an Ibiza villa holiday will be able to see sites dating back to the 16th century.
