The Manchester United footballer is planning a relaxed goodbye to the bachelor's life before he weds his long-term beau, Coleen McLoughlin, the Sunday Mirror reports.
Flying out to the sun-kissed destination with friends on June 1st, Rooney and pals are to stay in an Ibiza villa and relax.
"During the day, they plan to laze around the pool at the villa and get a bit of a tan ready for the wedding," a friend told the news provider.
Rooney is not the only famous face who chooses the Spanish island for a break away from the daily grind of UK celebrity life.
Singer James Blunt also owns a villa on the island.
Events guide What's On When has commented that Ibiza's old town "retains a special, alternative atmosphere" and can open visitors' eyes to the island's fascinating history.
