Medieval Festival on an Ibiza holiday

Taking place from May 11th to 13th, the event is a great chance for visitors to see all kinds of medieval entertainers.

Magicians, puppets, clowns, minstrels and jugglers all take part in the celebrations and provide atmosphere and plenty of colour to the proceedings.

The city was declared as a Mankind Heritage Site in 1999 and the event was started to commemorate this recognition.

Over 100 stalls are erected in the old town to accompany the varying selection of street performers.

The city was a refuge point for many ancient civilisations including the Romans, the Phoenicians and the Arabs.

Holiday makers taking a holiday in Ibiza will find the festival to be one of the most exciting on offer and it also makes a great excursion from the villa.

In addition, visitors who want to relax can enjoy the warm Mediterranean temperatures by the pool in their Ibiza villa.
