Landscapes of Ibiza
The Puget Museum in Dalt Vila is one of these and they offer visitors a snap-shot of rural life and the history of the island throughout the twentieth century.
Dedicated to the works of Puget Vinas and Puget Riquer, the museum houses a collection of 130 items that express the culture of Ibiza.
Visitors can see watercolours and drawings, mainly by Puget Riquer, which focus predominantly on the streets, people and scenery of Ibiza.
His father's works are largely oil paintings and drawings of rural life and women at the centre of the family as well as depicting some of the island's customs and rituals.
Holiday makers travelling to the island in the new holiday season will find that Ibiza has much to offer apart from sandy beaches and beautiful sunshine including some brilliant culture.
