According to Ruby Warrington of the Times, a new party is taking over the island of Ibiza – the wedding party.
Speaking to the newspaper, Vikki Jay, a wedding planner on the island, said: "Lots of people who get married here have some kind of connection with Ibiza [..] they might have even met here."
After falling in love with the Balearic beauty of the destination while on holiday, many people may elect to get married there too – and have the wedding of their dreams.
"In Ibiza your wedding can be whatever you want it to be," she said.
Another planner, Serena Cook, says the people who are choosing to get married are mainly British, very successful and in their 30s.
Ibiza boasts numerous villas scattered across the island that can offer holiday makers the perfect locations to house their wedding guests – while the laidback atmosphere may help with any jitters.
