Ibiza holidays move upmarket
Writing in the Independent, Elizabeth Nash asserts that many of the stereotypes associated with the sun-baked Spanish isle are outdated, belying the current maturity of Ibiza holidays.
An Ibiza holiday in 2008 introduces Brits to an "upmarket" destination that is home to a plethora of "luxury villas", she observes.
"Spain's real star quality is its chameleon-like ability to move with the times," Ms Nash adds.
As Spain celebrates its Euro 2008 triumph, it may be a good time to visit the country, the newspaper observes.
The country's pride is a joy even for non-Spaniards, who can appreciate the sense of fun in which it is meant, the author suggests.
A report published in the Telegraph last month suggested Ibiza holidays as a good option for families with teenagers, as the island can cater to such a wide range of tastes.
