According to Ibiza Spotlight, people on Ibiza holidays can now visit the number two beach on the continent, as determined by online reviews portal Onbeach.com.
The Cala Salada cove near San Antonio took the prestigious accolade, which was based on a selection of more than 100 criteria including swimming and cleanliness.
Visitors appreciated Cala Salada's "fine sand, rugged rocks and crystalline waters", the news provider suggested.
"If you're going, you'll need a car for the ten minute ride through beautiful scenery from San Antonio and if you're lucky you could park up really close to the beach itself," the publication recommended.
Visitors looking to combine an Ibiza villa break with a beach vacation could be interested in the Bogamari resort, which overlooks San Antonio Bay.
