Ibiza city council's Youth Council, in collaboration with the Sargantana Rock Musicians Association, has been working hard to organise the Music in the Streets programme which take place between May and October.
From music aficionados to those who can barely whistle a tune, everyone will be treated to all genres of music, from jazz to blues, to flamenco and hip-hop, in live performances across the city's different neighbourhoods.
The bossa nova beats of Claudius Cora, as well as ethnic music by Kallpaq, and Nela Escribano, flamenco by Marcial and jazz by the Victor Gressely Band, are sure to make more stage shy visitors to the island tap their feet to the rhythm of the music and the most confident to get up in the streets for a dance.
Created in March 1995 the aim of the Sargantana Rock Cultural Association was to bring together local Pitiusan musicians and bands to offer quality concerts, provide rehearsal venues and introduce new young local bands.
Performances are offered over a number of different Sundays from May to October, kicking off at 9pm and holidaymakers visiting the area will be drawn to an event showcasing the energy of the island.
