Exhibition of photos: Ibiza
Hidden in old fisherman's quarter in Ibiza, between the port and the walls of Dalt Vila, is the town of Sa Penya.
The town is designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
But the white-walled town will be home to a photograph exhibition that will depict over 200 images of Sa Penya in the late nineteenth century through to the present day.
The exhibition is divided into three spaces: the Visual Artists Association photos are displayed in Plaza de Sa Drassaneta, and a typical local home is the venue for the next section, with the final lot on display at Galeria Via 2.
The event runs until the end of September and features the work of many photographers such as Hauser y Menet, Narciso Puget, and also photos from the collections belonging to local residents.
Taking a holiday to Ibiza can be relaxing and full of surprises, the town of Sa Penya provides this opportunity and holidaymakers can enjoy the sunshine and take in some local culture along the way.
