Beautiful scenery attracts holiday makers to Ibiza
According to an article in the Irish Independent, Ibiza is renowned for its beautiful scenery, which is popular among those looking for peace and quiet.
It points out that away from the famous nightclubs, the island is actually something of a haven for nature.
Indeed, the Es Vedra nature reserve lies just two kilometres off the western coast and can be reached on a boat trip.
Here, holiday makers can enjoy spectacular sunsets and learn about the mythical tales that are attributed to the rocky island.
Those renting Ibiza villas in Cala Conta can head to the west coast to catch a boat to Es Vedra for the day.
The resort is also a far cry from the island's bustling nightspots, with a beautiful beach and a selection of local restaurants that offer amazing views out to sea.
