The island is just seven miles long, and comprised of three individual regions; Anna Maria town, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach. All three have a fantastic selection of unique restaurants, quirky shops, and both gulf and bay front beaches. The island also offers an abundance of activities such as boating, fishing, all types of water sports, and shelling. Anna Maria is located eight miles west of Bradenton, connected by the Manatee and Cortez bridges. It is one hour from Tampa airport, and two hours from Orlando, making it an easily accessible peaceful island retreat.
