New Sacha Baron Cohen movie to shoot scenes in Fuerteventura
People who are preparing to board last minute flights to Fuerteventura villas may be able to catch the filming of a new Hollywood movie.
Spoof film Finchley Dreams is set to feature scenes that are shot on the popular Canary Island destination, with the crew looking to head to the location over the next few days.
According to IslandConnections.eu, the cast and crew for the movie, which stars Sacha Baron Cohen, are set to work in Fuerteventura for around ten days throughout September.
Filming will be based in the island's resorts of La Oliva and the Barranco de la Herradura, the latter of which can be found in Puerto del Rosario.
Meanwhile, people who are holding back until next year in order to fly out to villas in Fuerteventura may want to note new flights are being introduced by easyJet.
The popular airline has announced that it is opening a route to the Canary Island hot spot from March 28th 2012, which will depart from London Gatwick twice a week.
