Visit St Pete Beach while in Tampa villas

Holiday makers who have picked out Florida villas for their summer getaway have been told why they should travel to Tampa.

The resort in the Sunshine State has been hyped up by a writer at TravelBite.co.uk for a number of reasons, all which could tempt families to pay a visit to its sights.

As well as being bathed in sub-tropical temperatures throughout the summer, the west coast destination also comes with plenty of eye-catching beaches.

One coastline in particular picked out by the expert was St Pete Beach, which previously went by the moniker of the City of St Petersburg Beach.

"Here you'll find acres of sand and an abundance of water sports, from paddle boating to parasailing," they acknowledged.

People staying in villas in Florida near to this site can also relax in an array of tasty restaurants around the resort, as well as splash the cash at the Historic Corey Avenue Shopping District.

Recently, James Litston, the UK representative of Tampa Bay & Company, recommended Brits take up a visit to Tampa Bay too, as it boasts "year-round sunshine".
