Visit Mickey and friends to party this Halloween

Families with young children visiting Orlando villas this October will be able to enjoy a spook free Halloween party after hours, which is designed especially for kids.

With other parks offering the more traditional Halloween scares, younger kids will be accommodated for in the Magic Kingdom on select dates up until November 1st, at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Children will be able to trick or treat with their parents throughout the park, meeting an array of popular Disney characters all dressed in their Halloween best along the way.

Other Halloween attractions for families holidaying in Orlando with young kids will include a 'Boo to You' parade and a spectacular Halloween fireworks display. The ever popular Magic Kingdom attraction, The Haunted Mansion, will also be available.

Orlando is home to some of the most spectacular theme parks in the world, and Disney recently announced that director James Cameron will be working alongside developers to bring an Avatar themed park to the resort, with construction set to begin in 2013.
