Villas in Orlando 'a perfect setting for Fourth of July celebrations'

When it comes to celebrating the American event that occurs each year on July 4th, Brits may want to head to villas in Florida.

A list complied by Travelocity recommended a couple of destinations around the Sunshine State which will honour Independence Day in style.

In fact, the source has put the resort of Orlando top of its compilation, as an array of firework displays will be enjoyed at such pleasurable venues as Universal Studios, SeaWorld and Walt Disney World.

"For a break from the parks, pack your picnic basket and head instead to the free fireworks show at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando," Travelocity added.

Meanwhile, South Florida has also been advised to holiday makers occupying Florida villas during July 4th celebrations.

"It's all about the beaches in South Florida, even in the evening hours," the source acknowledged.

Both Miami Beach and Lakefront Park in Kissimmee will be honouring Independence Day in their special ways during the day and into the night.
