Universal Orlando Resort set to become Florida's Xmas highlight

Families can indulge in extra special Christmas celebrations this year if they book up villas in Florida and take a trip to Universal Orlando Resort.

The Sunshine State's popular attraction looks set to honour the festive season in style, with a host of entertaining events.

Between December 3rd and January 1st, the venue will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with attractions to excite the whole family.

A visit to Universal Orlando Resort will not be complete without witnessing the 10th Anniversary Macy's Holiday Parade, where an array of dazzling balloons and floats pass through the streets.

There will also be a Santa Claus with a difference in Florida throughout December, seeing as though Universal's Islands of Adventure is to host Grinchmas.

Dr Seuss' famous festive character is the star attraction here, with children being given the opportunity to get their photo taken with the mean individual himself.

A host of other memorable venues will still be open throughout the festive period too, including a chance for muggles to explore the amazing Hogwarts inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
