Take in the Honda Classic golf tournament on a Florida holiday
Golf fans who have booked a stay in a Florida villa later this month may want to find time to attend one of the sport's most prestigious tournaments.
The Honda Classic will be taking place at the PGA National Resort & Spa from February 28th to March 6th and will see professional players taking on a par 70 course that measures 7,158 yards and features a multitude of bunkers and water hazards.
In addition to taking in the golf, spectators will also be able to enjoy time in a family-friendly Fan Zone, as well as sample the beer and wine gardens and watch a fireworks display.
They will also have the opportunity to test their skills on the course's famous three-hole combination, known as the Bear Trap.
According to the Florida Visitors and Convention Bureau, there are more than 40 courses for golfers to try out in the state, including championship-standard venues such as Ridgewood Lakes.
