Take a space journey when in Florida villas

Holiday makers will be able to celebrate the successful completion of the US' space program with an array of exciting undertakings around Florida villas.

Space shuttle Atlantis arrived at the Kennedy Space Center this morning (July 21st), following an historic journey outside of the earth's atmosphere.

Despite this being the final scheduled trip of its kind, Brits will be able to experience many space-like treats around the Sunshine State.

One venture that families will likely find entertainment from is a guided tour around Cape Canaveral, subtitled Then & Now.

Here, people will be shown around the famous Nasa launch sites for such programs as Gemini, Mercury and Apollo.

Meanwhile, a trip to the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex will give people the chance to get up close with an astronaut and witness displays of space flight.

Following these tours, Brits staying in Florida villas can have the chance to relax and soak up some rays upon the Canaveral National Seashore – the longest stretch of undeveloped coast line in the east of the state.
