Take a new look at the world on a Florida holiday

People planning Florida holidays this year will be able to check out one of the newest attractions at the US Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, not far from Orlando.

Nasa's Kennedy Space Center recently unveiled the Science On a Sphere exhibit at the venue, which is designed to offer a unique perspective on our world.

Visitors will be taken on a three-dimensional journey around the globe and through the solar system, taking in the atmosphere, oceans and other planets along the way.

People who visit the US Astronaut Hall of Fame during a Florida villa holiday can learn about how space-age technology is used to aid hurricane predictions and map global weather trends.

Bill Moore, chief operating officer at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, said: "This new instrument will enhance our ability to tell the Nasa story and help illustrate earth and space science to people of all ages."

It was recently announced that the complex will present a new interactive stage show entitled Star Trek Live this year.

People taking Florida holidays will be able to see the high-tech production from June 11th.
