Take a Gulf Coast holiday for a Taste of Collier
People enjoying Gulf Coast holidays this year will be able to experience the Taste of Collier festival.
Foreign visitors will be able to absorb some local culture during a Gulf Coast holiday this year by heading to the annual Taste of Collier festival.
The event will take place at Bayfront Place in Naples, Florida on May 2nd.
Described by the local tourist board as a "long-standing Naples tradition", the event invites families to enjoy live performances by local bands and artists, as well as the ever-popular 'wait staff games'.
Holiday makers staying in Gulf Coast villas will also be able to see an ice-carving contest and a cookery competition and enjoy quality food provided by 30 of the best restaurants in Collier County.
The city of Naples in Florida will host several events this year, including the Great Dock Canoe Race, which is scheduled for May 8th.
Arguably the destination's most popular annual tradition, the competition sees contestants and spectators travel from far and wide to see a series of canoe races.
