Rent an Orlando villa and become an American Idol

Aspiring popstars renting Orlando villas in Florida can get a taste of fame at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The American Idol Experience gives holiday makers an opportunity to take the stage and impress a panel of judges, just like the real TV talent show.

Based on the UK programme Pop Idol, American Idol has become a TV phenomenon in the US.

But while only the best can compete on the real show, anyone can have a go at Hollywood Studios.

Each day visitors can attend auditions and a lucky few will be invited to sing live on stage along with several other contestants.

Those who don't make the grade can grab a spot in the audience and vote for their favourite acts as they perform.

Singers who think they have what it takes could rent Orlando villas in the Disney area to make sure they are close to Hollywood Studios.

The American Idol Experience isn't the only live show at the park in which guests can participate.

Daredevils taking a seat for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular may be asked to participate in one of several exciting movie tricks alongside real stuntmen.
