Rent an Orlando Villa and check out the lights at Silver Springs

Holiday makers spending December in an Orlando Villa may wish to visit Silver Springs in Ocala, where a festive celebration is taking place throughout the month.

On select dates in November, December and January, the nature park will be hosting a fantastic display of lights in the run up to Christmas.

Featuring more than a million lights and neon displays, the festival is sure to amaze children and adults alike, and will take place between dusk and 20.30 local time.

As well as the lights, there will be a range of activities to keep families occupied, including storytelling sessions with Miss Molly in the Silver River Theatre.

Beyond that, local choirs will be adding a heavenly chorus to the weekend proceedings, while carollers are sure to bring some festive cheer.

There will also be a special parade of illuminated boats, while Silver Springs will be offering its visitors a chance to see Santa Clause on December 24th.

Florida villa holiday makers taking a trip to the park in the daytime can also check out its extensive wildlife exhibits and picturesque botanical gardens.
