Rent a Gulf Coast villa and discover the G.WIZ science museum

Families hoping to do something different during their Florida villa holiday on the Gulf Coast could try the G.WIZ Science Museum.

Located in Sarasota, the attraction provides a respite from the theme parks and zoos that Florida is so famous for.

Children will find plenty to keep them entertained and adults may learn something new as well.

Exhibits are dedicated to renewable energy, optical illusions, electricity, the human body and the power of the mind.

From January 2010, there will be a new exhibit focusing on dinosaurs, which will feature some exciting sculptures by Jim Gary.

There is also an educational programme at G.WIZ, catering for both holiday makers and school groups.

Parents can therefore be sure that their children are learning as well as having fun during their visit to the museum.

Those renting Gulf Coast villas in Bradenton will be able to reach the museum easily, as Sarasota is just ten minutes away by car.

The resort is also ideally situated for a visit to the sandy beaches at nearby Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island.

For those planning a trip to Orlando, the theme park capital of the Sunshine State is around three hours away.
