Reasons to visit Pensacola Bay while in Florida villas
Wildlife lovers will be able to catch a spectacular scene if they book Florida villas close in the north-west of the state.
A host of eagle-like osprey birds have taken up residence on the bridge of Pensacola Bay since the end of summer, PNJ.com reports.
The sight of the animals, which can show off wing spans of between five and six foot wide, was particularly welcoming for Dorothy Kaufmann, director of the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida.
"It shows we have a more eco-friendly environment because wildlife seems to be an indicator for issues in the environment," the expert acknowledged.
Bob Duncan, who is a member of the Francis M Weston Audubon Society, was also happy by the osprey's presence, noting: "They're a majestic bird, and it's great to see them carrying mullet around to their babies."
Families are sure to find plenty more to interest them if they take a trip to Pensacola Bay while in villas in Florida, with the location home to jewel-green coasts and golden beaches.
