Reasons to countdown to New Year in Miami
People have the chance to ring in 2012 in style if they snap up villas in Florida in time for New Year's Eve.
The Sunshine State will be hoping to finish the year with a bang, with celebrations and fun-filled events taking place around the destination.
Families who head to Miami's Bayfront Park will be able to enjoy the lead-up to January 1st with a free party and concert.
The countdown is made even more unique by the fact that it comes in the form of a huge orange – a symbolism of Florida - climbing down the side of The Hotel Intercontinental.
Holiday makers who are travelling to Florida villas near to Miami can make their celebrations last all day long on New Year's Eve thanks to the King Mango Strut.
This event occurs at the Downtown Coconut Grove and sees a parade travelling through the city, complete with local and national figures, as well as recollections of events which have captured the headlines over the last 12 months.
