Pepsi backing for new attraction for Florida holiday makers
People taking a holiday in Florida next year may be eagerly awaiting the opening of the new Legoland park – a development that has moved a step closer after a sponsorship deal was tied up with drinks firm Pepsi.
The refreshments manufacturer has agreed to become the official beverage provider at the state's newest theme park, which is due to open in October 2011.
Featuring ten different lands, each with a unique theme and different rides and activities on offer, Legoland is sure to be a favourite with those staying in villas in Florida.
"Legoland Florida will be an important addition to the tourism landscape and at Pepsi,we're thrilled to be in on the ground-level of such an enormous endeavour," says Tom Shull, vice-president of food service at the drinks company.
Details of the development emerged recently, revealing it would be home to more than 50 rides and will also feature a special 4D theatre.
