People seeking specialist holidays to Florida in 2012?

While Brits will be looking for value for money during their holidays next year, which may include trips to Florida villas, luxury and authentic getaways are set to prove popular.

This is one of the suggestions touted by ABTA – The Travel Association in its Travel Trends Report 2012.

According to the report, which was put together with help from Foreign and Commonwealth Office, specialist holidays which include exploration and activity getaways are expected to receive a boost in the months ahead.

Looking into the booking trends for summer 2012, the most popular holiday destinations are set to remain Spain, Greece, Italy, France and the US.

"2011 has been a challenging year but the British public showed resilience when it came to their holidays and we expect a similar picture in 2012," ABTA's chief executive, Mark Tanzer, pointed out.

For those seeking out stays in villas in Florida, the Winter Park Bach Festival and the Florida Music Festival and Conference could both present perfect days out for holiday makers visiting Orlando in the next few months.
