Orlando holidays 'offer value for money'

Thousands of UK tourists flock to OrlandoFlorida every year to enjoy its theme parks and other family attractions.

And according to the Orlando Tourism Bureau, the 'sunshine state' offers great value for money, which is why it is so popular.

As its nickname suggests, it also boasts plenty of sunny weather, which is another major draw for families, said spokesperson Danielle Courtenay.

"We were built on fun and hospitality," she stated. "If people come, they will be treated so well and we know that with the recession, people are looking for good value. Orlando has always been seen as a good value destination."

There are so many attractions in Orlando that holiday makers may find it difficult to fit them all in. Luckily, many of them offer discounted tickets and family promotions.

Disney World is perhaps the most popular, although Universal Studios, Sea World and the Epcot Centre also pull in huge crowds with their rides, shows and animal exhibits.

Those hoping to visit as many attractions as possible on their Orlando villa holiday could stay at the Windsor Hills Resort.

Disney World is just a five-minute drive away, while Sea World and Universal Studios can be reached by car in 15 minutes.

The gated resort is also home to a water park complete with slides, fountains and a children's area, so holiday makers can also relax and enjoy the Florida sun.
