New campaign could convince people to holiday in Florida
Families and couples who are unsure about whether a holiday in Florida is right for them could be wise to take a look at new promotional material from the state's official tourism body.
Visit Florida has announced it is launching the second year of its Your Florida Side is Calling campaign, designed to entice tourists to the region.
Ed Fouche, chairman of the organisation's board of directors, says: "We know that destination marketing works for Florida. It's the most important element we have to attract new and returning visitors to our state which, in turn, sustains and creates jobs."
The campaign includes showing off the very best of the Sunshine State through a variety of mediums – such as radio, television, online and mobile.
One event that could draw people to Florida in the spring is the Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In and Expo, due to take place at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport from March 29th.
