New campaign celebrates joy of Orlando holidays
A new campaign has been launched to showcase some of the joyful experiences on offer to people taking Orlando holidays.
The Orlando Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has initiated a search to find 67 'smile ambassadors', who will receive a trip to the destination later this year.
Winners will be chosen on the basis of written or video submissions explaining how taking an Orlando holiday has put a grin on their face in the past.
They will be invited to visit the city on October 1st to mark World Smile Day.
Gary Sain, president and chief executive of the Orlando CVB, said: "Orlando smiles are created by unique and distinctive experiences that cannot be duplicated anywhere else in the world.
"Smiling faces inspired the theme of our worldwide marketing campaign, 'Orlando makes me smile'. We thought it would be fun for people to share what it is about the destination that personally brings that smile to their face and then bring people from around the world together to share an authentic Orlando smile experience."
The campaign will also aim to raise money for Smile Train, a charity that helps children with cleft lips and cleft palates.
