New Lonely Planet guidebook to help those booking villa holidays in Florida?
Tourists booking villa holidays in Florida may be able to find more attractions to explore in the south-west of the state following the publication of a new Lonely Planet guidebook.
The firm has released a title called Discover the Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel, which has been met with a largely positive reception by local tourism leaders, News-Press reports.
Visitors heading to the area could find the compact book useful when deciding on what attractions to visit and Ellis Etter, who works in the Fort Myers hospitality sector, described it as "a nice size" publication that contains "good information".
It is the result of a groundbreaking partnership between Lonely Planet and the area's visitor bureau, which was announced last October.
The book may have been of use to the Chilean miners who were rescued from a collapsed mine late last year, some of whom recently paid a visit to south Florida.
