New Legoland 'to be highlight of 2011 Florida holidays'
People planning to book a holiday in Florida this year could time their arrival to ensure they have the chance to visit the new Legoland theme park.
With the attraction due to open its doors in the Sunshine State for the first time in October, tourists may need to start plotting their trip now.
Central Florida Visitors and Convention Bureau names the arrival of Legoland as one of its highlights of the upcoming year.
It suggests the theme park, which will be set in 150 acres of land in Polk County and feature rides designed for children aged between two and 12, is one that is worth splashing out for.
Legoland Florida will be split into ten different zones, each with its own theme – such as Castle Hill, Land of Adventure and Lego City.
Visit Florida this week announced it is to relaunch a successful marketing campaign in a bid to attract tourists to the state this year.
