Nature fans could enjoy Florida holiday in 2011
An annual festival is to be expanded to run for three days in 2011 and could tempt nature fans from across the world to holiday in Florida.
The Polk Naturefest event will take place between October 6th-8th and offer a host of activities and excitement to those who attend.
Several expert guest speakers are due to give presentations at the festival, while there will also be tours across both land and water in the Sunshine State.
Visitors are advised to consider starting their trip at the Nature Discovery Center, which serves as a good opening to a tour of local reserves and exhibitions.
Hiking, birding, kayaking, boating and conservation will all be on the itinerary for those who invest in a holiday in Florida in order to get closer to nature.
The Daily Mail recently highlighted Miami as a place people should travel to if they value guaranteed sun throughout the year.
