Multiple cultures to be celebrated around Florida villas

Brits who head along to villas in Florida this summer will have plenty of opportunities to celebrate various cultures present in the state throughout their stay.

For example, holiday makers may want to check out the Colombian Festival when it descends upon the Fair Expo Centre in Miami on July 17th.

Some of the attractions present during the event include dancing activities, a host of music delights and food samples to try, all with a Columbian twist.

Just under a month later on August 13th, the Florida International University will be presenting IFE-ILE's Afro-Cuban Dance Festival.

The meeting looks to honour the cultures of Afro-Caribbean and Cuban citizens within Florida, with the Miami streets showcasing many of these aspects.

During the same month, people staying in Florida villas near to West Palm Beach may want to check out the Bon Festival, a Japanese themed event at the Morikami Museum.

A street fair, Japanese folk dancing and Taiko drum shows are just a few attractions for tourists to get involved with.
