Legoland makes final preparations for October opening

Families visiting Orlando holiday villas from mid-October can look forward to seeing the new Legoland theme park in the resort.

The Orlando park is scheduled to open on October 15th, and the owners invited the media along yesterday (September 28th) for a sneak preview of the attractions as it made its final preparations.

When the park opens, visitors will be able to see a huge variety of areas, which are named: The Beginning, Fun Town, Miniland USA, Castle Hill, Land of Adventure, Xtreme, Lego City, Imagination Zone, Pirate Cove, and Duplo Village.

With so many varied regions, families visiting Orlando villas will find something to entertain everyone, a fact which Legoland's marketing manager Jill Swidler takes pride in.

"You can see from our rides that kids any age can go on. We’ve got little rollercoasters, big rollercoasters, and a lot of educational components," she said.

Florida was in the headlines earlier this week when it was revealed that Jennifer Lopez would be filming her new movie, Parker, in the popular holiday villa resort.
