Legoland Florida now open for families to visit
Legoland Florida has opened its doors and welcomed in its first visitors who are staying in Orlando hotels.
The park is located on the same site where Cypress Gardens once was and will provide entertainment for all the family.
Ted Craig, from Miami, who was one of the first to experience the facility, told the Baltimore Sun that the park was very accessible.
He added: "The great thing about it is that it's extremely kid-friendly."
Officials at Legoland said that they were pleased with how the first weekend went, with many customers leaving with smiling faces.
Other visitors to the park told the newspaper that Legoland is "very family-orientated" as children can go on the rides without worrying too much about height restrictions.
Those staying in Orlando hotels will be able to visit a number of areas within the fun park, including the Duplo Village, the Imagination Zone and Pirates' Cove.
