Inflatable cinema venues 'proving popular in Florida'

Families heading on holidays to villas in Florida have been told of a unique entertainment opportunity which is available to them while in the Sunshine State.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that inflatable or portable cinema attractions have shot up around the state, ranging from sites in Jacksonville to venues in Miami.

Jason Davis, a corporate lawyer from Orlando, believes that the attractions are ideal for seeking out an entertaining treat for all the family.

He told the news source: "Any time you can keep two six-year-olds and a three-year-old entertained for two hours, you're doing something right. It makes a nice night nicer."

Joe Shipes, an executive vice president at a community group in Florida who purchased an inflatable screen and accessories to display in Leesburg, is optimistic about this innovative entertainment venture.

"We're trying to create a new sense of place … It's seemed to work, too. People love it," he explained.

Families are also in for a treat if they head to the Sarasota Jungle Gardens while staying in Florida villas, seeing as though the venue presents over 70 animal species as well as thousands of exotic and native plants.
