Improved transport links on offer to Florida holiday makers
Holiday makers in Florida during 2011 may find it is even easier to explore more of the Sunshine State, thanks to a new service set to be offered by AirTran Airways.
The carrier has announced it is to launch flights between Tampa and Key West on a daily basis.
Such a route may be of particular interest to those who do not have the time to spend in cars or on trains and wish to pack plenty into their short spell in the US's most southern state.
It comes alongside news of an extension to the service operated by British Airways between London Gatwick and Tampa, which provides travel for those set to stay in a villa in Florida.
Other AirTran routes include one between Orlando and Key West, while it also flies from the latter hub to Atlanta.
Air France recently announced it is to launch extra flights from the French capital Paris direct to Florida.
