Holiday in Florida 'is a golfer's dream'
Keen golfers may be missing out on a memorable experience if they fail to book a holiday in Florida.
Kissimmee, a resort located in the Sunshine State, is noted for its high-quality courses and facilities, with some parts designed by famous professionals such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson.
There is no other destination that boasts courses created by such renowned characters within the sport.
And the area is not only open to those who have perfected their swing and got their putting in check, as a series of academies are open to help developing players.
People in Florida for a holiday are invited to test out Watson's course named Independence, or Nicklaus's design, which goes under the name Tradition.
And golfers hoping to ease themselves in gently are advised by the visitors' bureau to try either of Greg Norman's two layouts at The ChampionsGate complex.
Those who decide to head to the US may wish to do so with Virgin Atlantic, which was this week named by CoolBrand as the trendiest company of 2010.
