Each model comes with explanatory signs, giving visitors information about different species and how they lived.

For example, youngsters can become palaeontologists and take part in a fossil dig, enjoy a subterranean picnic in the specially-designed caves or take a tour of the Skelton Garden.

There also a dinosaur museum on site displaying everything from life-sized dinosaur eggs to claws once belonging to predatory raptors.

Families renting Gulf Coast villas in Bradenton will be able to drive to Dinosaur World easily.

Bradenton boasts some beautiful white sandy beaches where families can relax and sunbathe, as well as some excellent bayside restaurants.

The resort is also ten minutes away from Sarasota, where holiday makers will find numerous amenities such as cinemas, theatres, shops and restaurants.
