Get a hole in one on a Florida holiday

An Orlando villa holiday in Florida does not just have to be centred on theme parks and children's activities.

The area also has plenty to offer for adults, including the Eagle Creek Golf Club on Emerson Lake Boulevard.

Keen golfers can escape the crowds and play a round on this stunning 18-hole course, which boasts five par fives and more than 90 bunkers.

It has been rated as one of the top ten new courses in Florida by Travel and Leisure Golf magazine, so should be a memorable one to play.

According to the club, the course has a Scottish feel thanks to its dramatic bulkheads, which make it stand out from some of the others in the area.

In addition to the 18-hole course, there is also a two-sided driving range where players can perfect their swing.

Eagle Creek Golf Club is just 11 minutes from Orlando International Airport, so those hoping to try it out could rent an Orlando villa at the Mystic Dunes Leisure Resort, which also has its own 18-hole course.
