Flower festival to entertain families staying in Disney villas

The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will return this year, providing some stunning sights and memorable experiences for families staying in villas near Disney World.

Holiday makers should head to the Epcot theme park at Florida's Walt Disney World Resort before May 16th to be part of the festival.

Taking place every spring, the event provides an opportunity for the attraction's skilled gardeners and horticulturists to showcase their skills by creating a range of impressive topiaries.

Around 70 sculptures are presented during the festival, with all of the most popular Disney characters brought to life.

People staying in Disney villas will also be able to enjoy live music performances at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, as well as shopping promotions, children's activities, gardening workshops, seminars and more.

The Epcot centre is one of four themed areas at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, along with the Magic Kingdom Park, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

It celebrates the technological innovations, culture and cuisine of countries across the world.
