Florida villas: The Keys 'welcoming to all'

Holiday makers hoping to book up villas in Florida for their summer getaway have been told of the reasons why they should consider staying in The Keys area.

Kate Burgess-Craddy, UK representative of the Florida Keys & Key West, believes that this destination of the sunshine state is "extremely laid back, relaxed and welcoming" for all who visit.

The weather is also appealing for tourists, offering warm and pleasing weather conditions throughout all seasons of the year, with a sea breeze keeping the thermometer at a snug level.

When it comes to exploring The Keys, Ms Burgess-Craddy told those seeking out Florida villas to have a look around Key West.

"It's an eclectic mix of modernity and history, where traditional wooden houses with elaborate carved fascias and lush gardens line palm-tree adorned pavements," she explained.

Brits can easily reach The Keys too, with British Airways now offering a daily service from London Gatwick to Tampa and AirTran Airways recently opening a route from Tampa to Key West.
