Florida's Kennedy Space Center to undergo changes?
Families who have taken trips to Florida villas to see the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex may notice some differences if they return to the venue in the near future.
The popular Sunshine State attraction is set to undergo some changes over the next few months, according to Florida Today.
One of the main alterations is the fact that staff at the Kennedy Space Center are readying themselves to welcome the actual space-travelling shuttle orbiter Atlantis.
Such an awe-inspiring vessel is set to be housed in a new building which will be constructed at the venue.
However, in order to make space for the Atlantis shuttle, the location could be about to lose its replica vessel, the Explorer, which has been housed at the resort since the 1960s.
Families booking up villas in Florida should be sure to visit the Kennedy Space Center no matter the changes, with the site also featuring the US Astronaut Hall Of Fame and the Shuttle Launch Experience attractions.
