Florida property 'strong' as US housing market recovers
Florida villas may be attracting more attention from keen holiday makers, as an expert has claimed the state is among the strongest in terms of property market recovery in the US.
Nicholas Marr, chief executive officer at Homesgofast.com, says the region "is a good example of positive news with increasing sales reported by Florida realtors".
So people renting Florida villas should find themselves in good company, as domestic holiday travellers may be focusing on the area due to its beauty and pleasant climate.
Earlier this month, Freddie Mac predicted the battered stateside real estate market will reach rock bottom within the next few months and then begin to recover.
The price of a home is forecast to increase by one per cent this year and 2.5 per cent in 2015, although those in Florida could rise more quickly as the Sunshine State is popular for its many attractions, including Disney World and SeaWorld Orlando, while adults may wish to explore regions such as the Gulf Coast.
